A few last minute technical issues

The Pool Hoist has been installed at the Alyangula Pool, Groote Eylandt and will be available for use by MJD clients, and any other person needing assistance entering and exiting the pool.

The MJD Foundation will be training and employing a therapy aid whose tasks will include hydrotherapy sessions with each severe MJD client on Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island. Current research supports this approach as a method of alleviating severe back and limb pain which occurs in MJD sufferers.

  - who shipping the pool hoist from Darwin to Groote Eylandt at no charge
• GEMCO
  - for installing the hoist at the pool
