Beach-Wheelchair-Appeal

Here is Jane Wurramara (Bickerton Island) in the beach wheelchair the MJD Foundation bought her. It has really improved Jane's life and she can now spend lots of her time doing what she loves most - like fishing at the beach with her family.

In the wet season, Jane used to have to stay at home for months at a time not even able to get to the local shops. Now, she will be able to use this wheelchair on the wet, muddy roads on Bickerton Island to get out and about.

Right now, we know of at least another 3 people for whom a beach wheelchair or other equipment would make the same difference as it has for Jane.

With the wet season approaching fast, we don't have the money in our equipment fund to buy this equipment without your help.
