The following staff positions are being sought by the MJD Foundation.

Community Carer:

If you are a compassionate and reliable person with the skills to help two high needs Nhulunbuy based Aboriginal women (mother and daughter) who have Machado Joseph Disease with some of their basic care needs, we would love to hear from you.

Rate: $35/hour - 4-8 hours per week (weekends)

Reporting to our Director, Research and Community Services, your role as "Community Carer" is estimated to be around 4-8 hours per week, mainly on the weekend and your responsibilities will be:
- Personal care for 2 women with Machado Joseph Disease at their home in Nhulunbuy on Sat and Sun
- Change and wash bed sheets
- Light cleaning as required
- Alert MJD Foundation to care issues that arise with the family
- Highlight equipment needs to MJD Foundation
